Join the fun at a private viewing of “Young Woman and the Sea” – help celebrate Literacy Day, CFUW Saanich Peninsula’s 30-Year Anniversary Celebration and amazing women!
This movie was chosen as it correlates with what the women who started CFUW in 1919 and through those formative years may have experienced. The woman represented in this movie was 5 years old when CFUW was formed. She was told “no” countless times – in her education and in her passions. Based on a true story, it is both interesting and heart warming. A nod to the past with encouragement for the future!

Cost – $20 per ticket
