
2025 Recipient – Harnoor Grewal
Harnoor came to Saanich from India 3 years ago and entered Grade 10 in Parkland where she initially enrolled in English Language Learner classes as well as regular academics. Desite of the initial language barrier, Noor worked incredibly hard and has consistently maintained an ‘A’ average in her Grade 10 through 12 years. Additionally, her course load throughout her time here has been very academically rigorous and includes Law 12, Anatomy and Physiology 12, and a very rigorous dual-credit course, first year Psychology, which is offered by Parkland Secondary in partnership with Camosun College , where she achieving 89%.
Additionally, Noor is an incredibly kind, mature, and generous student who gets along well with both peers and adults.she has extended herself by going into the community as a volunteer at the local youth clinic, has obtained Level C First Aid training, and has worked as a pharmacist assistant.
Noor’s career goal is to obtain a Batchelor of Science degree in nursing, for which she is registered at Camosun College commencing this September. Noor is an exemplary student and citizen.
